I grew up in this community — not just moved here, grew up here — and that shapes almost everything about how I work as a Realtor. I know which streets flood a little in a wet winter, families in each school, which neighborhoods might fit your family needs and what as a seller you may want to think of to attract the best buyers. That kind of knowledge doesn't come from a market report. It comes from a lifetime of living here.
I've spent the last six years helping people buy and sell homes across the greater East Bay, and I currently work with Village Real Estate (previously with Dudum Real Estate Group on the Hurlbut Team). My first year in real estate I was named our brokerages Rookie of the year, I am a Presidents Club Member, consistently a top agent in the area and continue to grow my business based on referrals.
Most of my business comes from referrals, and that's not something I take lightly. It means past clients have trusted me enough to hand my name to their friends, their family, their coworkers — the people they actually care about. Some of my favorite clients are ones I've now helped two or three times over, through a first home, then a move up, then a sale down the road. That kind of repeat trust is the best measure of the job I'm doing, and it's the reason so much of my work comes from word of mouth rather than a sign in a yard.
I work with a wide range of buyers and sellers, from buying your first home, new to the area and those long-time residents ready for change. Buying your first home — or your first home in a place you don't know yet — can feel overwhelming. I love being the person who makes it feel manageable, even fun, by sharing the kind of community knowledge you can only get from someone who's actually from here.
For my sellers, my job is simple: get you the best possible outcome with the least possible stress. That means honest advice, a clear plan, and a vendor list built over years of doing this — the contractor who won't ghost you, the stager who gets it right the first time, the inspector who tells it to you straight.
When we work together, you can expect an easy, low-drama process — I keep things organized and moving, so you're never left guessing what's next — along with a little humor along the way, because buying or selling a home is a big deal, but it doesn't have to be a joyless one. I pay close attention to what's actually happening in our local market, street by street, not just the headline numbers, and I notice the things that make a house show well, with plenty of opinions (the good kind) on how to get your home ready for its close-up. I also come with a trusted vendor network for whatever comes up, because something always comes up, and deep roots in this community — I'm involved locally beyond real estate, and I care about this place because it's genuinely home.
When I'm not working, you'll find me spending time with my two daughters, spending time with my husband, or getting dragged around the block by our black Lab, Frank, who has strong opinions about the best place to find sticks. I bring that same warmth and realness to my work — because at the end of the day, buying or selling a home is one of the most personal things you'll do, and you deserve someone who treats it that way.
If you're thinking about buying, selling, or just want to talk through your options, I'd love to hear from you.
